So glad you said this. I saw a tree the other day that had about 10 life-size skeltons hanging from it (by the neck) and all I could think about was Nina Simone singing Strange Fruit. Lunchings weren't as common (or at least as common in living memory) in the UK but I still wondered how it might be seen by some.
