I struggled to write my book…
…but not in the ways I expected

As someone who was recently diagnosed with ADHD but was well aware of my weaknesses in organisation and consistency well before my diagnosis, I never believed I could write a book.
But I got there ….
To answer the often-asked questions about the process:
- I used a publisher (http://www.authoright.com/)
- I paid them to make it look professional
- I won’t make any money from it
- It took me longer than it should, but it's a miracle it was published at all.
- I didn’t like the original designs, so I worked through some ideas with an old school friend Sophie Bartrip (who also did all my original and detailed diagrams) and then used Readsy to create the final design with some experience in creating In Design files)
Productivity
So I realise that I am not neurotypical, and therefore, what worked for me may not work for you, but the approach I took was this:
- I started with a few articles and blogs I had already written.
